Health Insurance in Mexico: Hear from the Experts at Guardian Insurance

Some of the most frequently asked questions I get from members are in regards to health insurance in Mexico. For a topic as complicated as health insurance, I thought it was best to go straight to the experts.

To better serve you, I reached out to Guardian Insurance representative Stephanie Kempker. She organized a Zoom call with Guardian Insurance founder & CEO Antonio Trejo.

From the best time for someone planning to move to Mexico to purchase their insurance policy to misconceptions about healthcare in Mexico, I learned a lot from Steph and Antonio. I especially appreciated hearing about Steph’s experience as an expat and longtime Guardian client.

Both Steph and Antonio are extremely knowledgeable. It was evident to me that they really care about their clients.

While my current insurance policy is through Grupo Nacional Provincial, I wish I would have known about Guardian back when I was shopping around for coverage.

I don’t receive any sort of kickback or commission from Guardian. I’m simply sharing this service because I believe it is an option worth considering when researching health insurance options in Mexico.

Timestamps

This video is a long one (it’s a Zoom call recording, although I did edit it down a bit). As with the monthly members-only Q&A videos, I provided timestamps to help you navigate the video. That being said, I highly recommend watching the whole video even if you have to break it up into shorter chunks.
